BETTER COTTON

Better Cotton's goal is to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, the environment and the future of the cotton industry. Through education and training, farmers learn more about sustainable production methods, enabling them to reduce their impact on the environment, use less water and fewer harmful pesticides, and increase yields and profits. Better Cotton is not physically traceable to the final product. However, Better Cotton farmers benefit from the demand for Better Cotton in quantities that match our needs.

TWO-WAY CODE OF CONDUCT

The WE® Code of Conduct is a broad code of conduct with the following main points: safe working conditions, no child labour, no forced labour, a lower environmental impact and responsible buying. This code of conduct is signed by every supplier that supplies us and by every factory that produces for us. All parties hereby declare that they will comply with these minimum requirements with regard to working conditions. We talk about a 'two-way code of conduct', because it also contains agreements that we must adhere to. So, it goes both ways!
